Ford’s compact Maverick Pickup truck has been a hit since day one. Now entering its fourth year in production and Ford saw the truck fit for a pretty major update. The Maverick moves in to 2025 with an updated face, updated tech and a jump in capability for the hybrid.
Visuals

Dark appearance LED headlamps, new grills and a new front bumper are all new for the 2025 model year. Each trim gets its own specific grill designs for new unique appearances. LED projector headlights are added on higher trim levels. New 19″ wheels add sophistication to the Lariat trim and Ford adds a new available Black Package as well. The Black Package adds 19″ gloss black wheels, a unique black grill, a black roof and black Ford badges.
Tremor Trim

Along with the Ranger and F-Series, Ford adds the Tremor as a full trim level to the 2025 Maverick. The Tremor will keep the off road capabilities of the previous package but now adds a standard 360-degree camera and new 1-pedal drive.
Hybrid
The Hybrid models see the biggest updates in the entire lineup. New for 2025, Ford introduces All-Wheel-Drive capability to the 2.5 liter Inline-4. The hybrid still makes 191 horsepower, but now with a new optional tow package, the 2025 Maverick Hybrid extends its tow capability to 4,000lbs to match the 2.0 liter EcoBoost Inline-4’s capability. All-Wheel-Drive hybrids are optional on the XL, XLT & Lariat trims.
Technology and Interior

Ford traded the old 8″ touchscreen for a new, 13.2″ unit featuring the SYNC 4 system standard. That means all 2025 Mavericks come standard with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with a 5G connection to allow for over-the-air updates. Ford has also added their Pro Trailer Hitch Assist and Pro Trailer Backup Assist and 360-degree camera. The Trailer Assist options are available on XL and XLT models and standard on Lariat and Tremor Models.
The Maverick’s entire lineup benefits from updated safety tech with standard Co-Pilot 360 featuring Pre-collision assist with automatic emergency braking, Lane-keeping aid, Auto-LED high beam headlamps and a backup camera. Adaptive cruse control with Stop-and-Go, Lane centering and Predictive speed assist are now standard on higher trims.

Ford’s order banks for the 2025 maverick will open August 1st with MSRP beginning at $26,295 plus $1,595 destination.
